Monofilament vs Multifilament Nylon Netting

Monofilament and multifilament are not interchangeable labels. The first is normally quoted by solid-line diameter; the second uses denier and ply. Choose the filament route before comparing mesh, depth, length or price.

Choose the Notation the Factory Can Reproduce

A decimal diameter without a unit is incomplete, and a 210D description without ply is incomplete. Write 0.20 mm for monofilament or 210D/6 ply for multifilament, then attach the buyer sample when possible.

Compare Complete Specifications

Price comparisons should use the same filament type, line or ply, knot, mesh convention, depth, length, color mix and packing. A cheaper quotation based on a different notation is not a like-for-like comparison.

Buyer Questions

Is 0.20 mm the same as 210D/6 ply?

No. One is a monofilament diameter and the other is a multifilament denier/ply notation.

Can both filament types be mixed in one order?

They can be reviewed within the 1 metric ton mixed-specification MOQ, subject to quantity allocation, production grouping and packing confirmation.
