210D Nylon Netting Ply Reference Chart

The ply number states how many 210D yarn components are combined in the twine notation. It is a purchasing field, not a standalone strength or application rating. Mesh, knot, depth and the approved sample still decide the final product.

Do Not Quote by Ply Alone

A 210D/6 request should also state single knot, double knot or knotless, mesh value and measurement method, depth in MD, length, color, quantity and packing.

Use a Sample for Repeat Orders

Keep the approved twine and mesh reference connected to the production record. Visual color alone does not prove the ply count or construction.

Buyer Questions

What is the standard reference range?

The standard reference range used on this website is 210D/2–120 ply. Heavy custom configurations up to 210D/240 ply are reviewed against the complete requirement.

Does a higher ply automatically mean the correct netting?

No. Ply is only one field. Target use, mesh, knot, panel dimensions and the buyer sample must be reviewed together.
