Three panels / sinking arrangement

Three-Layer Sinking Trammel Net

The central panel and two outer panels are specified separately before the sinking assembly is priced. This page is for buyers who already know the panel relationship or can provide a complete sample, not for treating all three-layer nets as one standard SKU.

Record the panel architecture

Inner panel

Measure the inner mesh, state the method, identify the netting-line specification and note its fullness or mounting relationship when known.

Outer panels

Measure the larger outer mesh separately. Confirm whether both outer panels are identical and record their netting line rather than copying the inner-panel value.

Panel assembly

Show the joins, upper edge and lower edge in close-up photographs. Finished height depends on assembly, not just the loose panel depth.

Sinking configuration data

Lower rope Diameter, construction and color reference.
Weight form Separate sinkers, weighted rope or another approved arrangement.
Weight distribution Unit weight and spacing, pieces per finished unit, or total mass per finished length.
Upper edge Rope and any floats must still be specified; “sinking” does not mean the upper edge has no components.
Finished size 50m/100m references and 0.8m–6m height range; confirm actual mounted dimensions.

When this page is the right RFQ route

Use it when the current product has a conventional three-panel construction and a separately weighted lower edge. If the lower edge visibly contains repeated lead elements wrapped within or around a rope, use the rope-wrapped lead page so the construction is not simplified incorrectly.

Inspection points for an order

  • Inner and outer mesh checked against the agreed measurement method.
  • Netting line and rope sizes kept as separate fields.
  • Finished length/height and panel arrangement reviewed from the approved sample.
  • Lower-weight count, spacing or total arrangement photographed.
  • Bundle count, labels and shipping marks matched to the quotation.

Why three-layer quotations often differ

Two nets described as the same length can contain different panel depths, hanging relationships, outer-mesh sizes or weight distributions. Each difference changes the physical unit and can change packing weight. A buyer comparing suppliers should therefore request a line-by-line schedule for both panel sets and both edges. A quote that lists only “three-layer sinking net, 100m” is not ready for technical approval.

Reorder control for wholesalers

Assign a buyer SKU to the approved inner/outer combination and retain one dimensioned reference photo. On repeat orders, state whether every field is unchanged; if the current market wants a new mesh or height, create a second SKU rather than overwriting the old one. This makes bale labels, stock receiving and customer complaints easier to trace without implying a certification system.

What the supplier still needs to verify

The website images do not establish material, filament construction, tensile result or knot type. If any of these properties is commercially or legally controlled, provide a sample or written requirement and include the verified result in the quotation. Product color is never used as a shortcut for that review.
