Single-wall / sinking configuration
Single-Wall Sinking Gill Net
This page covers a finished net with one netting wall and a buyer-defined sinking arrangement. It does not label the fishing method: a sinking build is not automatically a bottom-set net. The quotation follows the actual edge construction shown in your photo or sample.

What controls this configuration
The netting wall
Confirm mesh in mm/inch, measurement method, netting-line specification and finished depth. “Line diameter” here refers to the netting line, never the upper or lower rope.
The lower-weight system
Photograph the lower edge. State whether weight comes from separate sinkers, a weighted rope or another agreed assembly, then add unit weight, interval or total weight per finished length.
The finished unit
Give mounted length, height, rope detail, any upper floats, color, pieces per bundle and shipping marks. Unmounted panel dimensions cannot replace the finished measurements.
Reference specification window
| Length | 50m or 100m are common reference units; another finished length can be reviewed. |
|---|---|
| Height | 0.8m–6m reference range; confirm the mounted finished height. |
| Mesh | Local 7 fen–9 zhi references require final confirmation in mm/inch and an agreed measurement method. |
| Netting line | 0.08mm–0.25mm reference range; material/filament construction is confirmed for the exact order. |
| Lower edge | Rope, sinker type, unit weight, spacing and total arrangement matched to the approved reference. |
| MOQ / timing | 100 pieces per specification; trial order from MOQ. Typical production planning is about 15–25 days. |
How a sample is converted into an order
- Photograph the full bundled net and both edges.
- Measure one mesh with a ruler and name the method.
- Measure the netting line and ropes separately.
- We record the lower-weight elements and packing count.
- The final quote lists the approved construction, quantity, packing and schedule.
Price-comparison traps to avoid
A low unit price may describe a shallower net, a lighter lower edge, a different netting-line specification or fewer pieces in each packing unit. Ask every supplier to repeat the same finished height, mesh method, rope data and weight basis in writing. If the current SKU is sold by bundle, also compare the number of finished nets and gross/net packing weight rather than the bundle price alone.
For mixed orders, identify each color, mesh and height as a separate line. The 100-piece MOQ applies to each approved finished-net specification, so quantities from unlike builds are not combined unless the quotation expressly says they can be.
Documents and photos to approve
The useful order record is a concise specification sheet, the buyer’s reference image, confirmed packing marks and the final commercial quotation. Where agreed, measurement photos and packing photos are reviewed before shipment. These checks verify the ordered configuration; they are not a blanket certification or a promise of performance in a particular fishery.
For an alternative build, compare the single-wall floating configuration. If you need only the lower-weight parts or unmounted mesh, review sinkers and fishing-net ropes or netting panels.
Frequently asked questions
Can I request a price from length and mesh only?
A preliminary discussion is possible, but the lower weight, netting line, height, packing and quantity are needed for a comparable quotation.
Is a trial order below 100 pieces?
The stated trial route starts at the finished-net MOQ of 100 pieces for one specification.
