Africa buyer entry

Fishing Net RFQ Preparation for African Buyers

Africa is not one uniform fishing-gear market. Buyers should separate the destination, water body, licensed use, material rules and local mesh limits before selecting a finished net, a netting panel or matching accessories.

Buyer routes in this region

East African buyers

Kenya and Tanzania require jurisdiction-specific review. Existing pages provide cautious preparation notes and do not treat one product as approved for every lake, coast or inland water body.

French-speaking markets

Use the French buyer entry for filet maillant, filet trémail, filets coulants or flottants, while keeping the final quotation in mm/inch measurements and a confirmed construction.

Portuguese-speaking markets

For Mozambique, Angola and related trade channels, the Portuguese entry organizes rede de emalhar, rede de tresmalho, panos de rede, boias, cordas and chumbadas.

Choose the product stage before asking for price

Single-wall sinking or floating nets One netting wall; quote the mesh, line, finished dimensions and lower/upper edge arrangement.
Three-layer sinking or floating nets Inner and outer panels are confirmed separately with the float, rope and lower-weight arrangement.
Rope-wrapped lead three-layer sinking net A distinct lower-edge configuration that should not be confused with a generic lead-core rope.
Semi-finished netting panels For buyers who mount ropes, floats and weights locally; panel and packing format are order-specific.
Floats, ropes and lead sinkers Quote each component by dimensions, construction, shape, weight, spacing and required quantity.

Regional and language routes

Use the Kenya and Tanzania pages where applicable. Other African markets should begin from this regional page plus the English, French or Portuguese entry that matches the buyer’s working language.
