Rubber-Coated Trammel Sinking Net Guide
Rubber-coated sinking trammel nets are selected when buyers need stronger sinking performance and reinforced use.

Why choose rubber-coated nets
Rubber coating adds significant durability to standard nylon trammel nets. The coating protects the netting from abrasion when fishing near rocks, reefs or other rough seabeds. Coated nets typically last 2–3 times longer than uncoated nets in demanding environments. This makes them ideal for rocky fishing grounds in Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean.
Weight and handling considerations
Rubber-coated nets are heavier than standard nets, which helps them sink faster and maintain bottom contact in strong currents. Extra crew may be needed during hauling due to the added weight. Most buyers order shorter lengths (50m preferred) to manage handling weight.
Customization options
Rubber coating thickness can be adjusted based on your abrasion risk and budget. Standard coating works for most applications. Heavy coating is recommended for extremely rocky grounds. Coating color can also be customized—black and dark green are most common in commercial fishing.
