Fishing Nets and Netting for Malaysian Buyers
Importers, marine-supply distributors, pemborong jaring ikan and local assemblers can compare finished nets, netting panels and components supplied from Huailin, China. English and Malay trade terms are retained where they help identify the buyer’s current SKU.
Match the trade term to the physical product
Jaring ikan is broad. Jaring insang may identify a gill-net family, while pukat tiga lapis can point toward a three-layer construction. Jaring kosong may refer to unmounted netting. The phrase pukat hanyut describes a method/context and must not be treated as an automatic translation of every “floating” configuration. A reference photo and measurements take priority.

Pemborong / distribution channel
List pieces per bale, labels, color references and the cities or customer segments served. Separate Sabah, Sarawak or Peninsular destinations when packing plans differ.
Local assembly channel
Quote jaring kosong by loose panel dimensions, mesh method, netting-line specification, edge treatment and bundle format. Request pelampung pukat, tali jaring and sinkers as measured components.

Current-rule verification
Malaysia buyers should check the intended fishing method, mesh, area, licensing, material and import obligations against the current Department of Fisheries Malaysia fisheries acts and rules and any other competent authority. We prepare a supply quotation; we do not issue a country-wide gear approval.
Commercial reference
For made-up finished nets, MOQ is 100 pieces per approved specification and trial orders begin at that quantity. Typical production planning is about 15–25 days. Netting and accessory MOQ are confirmed separately. If a controlled material is required, name it in writing or send a sample; green, white or blue color is not material evidence.
Buyer questions
Can I compare prices using only “pukat 100m”?
No reliable comparison is possible without wall structure, height, mesh, netting line, edge components, packing and quantity.
Can ropes be ordered by color?
Color is only a reference. Diameter, construction, coil length/weight and upper/lower use are required, and “fishing-net rope” should not be mistranslated as steel rope.
Receiving and repeat-order control
For the first shipment, ask the receiving team to compare the inner/outer panel count, mesh measurement, float or sinker interval, finished bundle count and shipping marks with the approved schedule. Keep one labelled reference unit for the next purchase. If a distributor changes a color or packing label only, record that revision without silently changing the physical net specification.
Prepare separate lines for Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah or Sarawak
The physical product may be the same, but destination, bale size, labels or order quantity can differ. Show these as delivery/packing lines instead of assuming one route. We use the destination to prepare the export quotation; it does not imply local delivery coverage or regulatory approval in any state.
Documents to discuss before confirmation
State which commercial invoice, packing list, shipping marks or buyer-specific documents are required. If a test or certificate is mandatory, name it before quotation so availability can be verified for the exact order. The website does not promise a document that has not been checked.
